Group Exercise Becomes of Age

The health and fitness industry is changing. The reasons people are exercising are shifting. Programming is expanding because our members are becoming more knowledgeable, and we have ourselves (as fitness leaders) to thank.

What we once knew as group fitness (aerobics) will never be the same. “Group activity” schedules are now in, and an “aerobics menu” is out.

Good instructors/trainers know that compassion is what it takes to influence an individual’s motivation to continue exercising, work harder or try new activities.

Positive experiences provided in group exercise can set participants up for a successful life of fitness. A healthy lifestyle acquired through a process of education and compassion is being fostered by a new paradigm of group programming diversification.
